Change or reset your password
Change Your Password
- Log In:
- Log in to your Votars account using your current email address and password.
- Access Account Settings:
- In the top-right corner of the dashboard, click on your profile picture or initials to open the user menu.
- Select “Account Settings” from the dropdown menu.
- Change Password:
- In the Account Settings page, locate the “Password” section.
- Click on the “Change Password” button.
- Enter your current password for confirmation.
- Enter your new password and confirm it by entering it again in the provided fields.
- Click “Save” to update your password.
- Confirmation:
- You will receive a confirmation notification on your dashboard indicating that your password has been successfully updated.
Reset Your Password
- Go to the Login Page:
- On the Votars login page, click on the “Forgot Password?” link.
- Enter Your Email Address:
- Enter the email address associated with your Votars account.
- Click “Submit” to receive a password reset email.
- Check Your Email:
- Open the email from Votars and click on the password reset link provided.
- Reset Password:
- Enter a new password and confirm it by entering it again in the provided fields.
- Click “Reset Password” to update your password.
- Confirmation:
- You will receive a confirmation notification indicating that your password has been successfully reset.
- You can now log in to your Votars account using your new password.
Additional Notes
- Password Requirements: Make sure your new password meets all security requirements, such as length and complexity.
- Password Reset Link Validity: The password reset link sent to your email will only be valid for a certain period. If it expires, you will need to request a new reset link.
